Back home in Karachi, Pakistan my mother owned her own flower shop that she named Fleurette. Being a female business owner in Pakistan at that time was extremely rare. I couldn’t help but admire my mother’s success and dedication. She was a very talented, ambitious and heartfelt individual.

I spent a lot of time in the flower shop throughout my adolescence, watching and absorbing her unique techniques. Together, we would frequent trips to Dubai and buy silk flowers for the business. All these beautiful memories and experiences is exactly where my admiration for flowers began to bloom. I’d move along to continue my admiration by creating arrangements for loved ones and special occasions in my free time. Fast forward to current day, and with the push of my lovely daughter and daughter-in-law, I recently took a leap of faith and started my very own floral business.

I’ve found it extremely fulfilling to honor and carry on the legacy of Fleurette although my mother is no longer with us. I love bringing joy into people’s lives. Joy through flowers.
